Here are some more SEO blunders to be avoided.
1. Identical Meta Descriptions. Make sure that no two of your pages have identical Meta Descriptions. All should be different, even if only slightly, so keep good track. This is not so difficult for small websites with just a few pages, but for larger sites it's more time-consuming (especially if and when you change your Metas), and can lead to mistakes.
A smart solution for larger or database-driven sites is to program dynamic Meta Descriptions that change with the page content. This also generates more keywords and is great for SEO.
2. Too low keyword density. As we all know, keyword spamming can be suicidal, so some webmasters tend to embark on the opposite path, namely to place too few keywords. Big mistake.
Don't be scared of a healthy dose of keywords. This is especially true if your text copy is well and fluently written, interesting, and readable. With the keywords that are important, go ahead and make your day. It's just the idle chatter and unnecessary junk that you should avoid. Suggested keyword density: 4 - 6 %.
Write well and to the point. It's great for SEO. It's good for your readers, too.
