Good content is valuable because it is the content that, in the final analysis, gives users the information they need about a website. And it's good content that separates mediocre (or bad) SEO from good SEO.
Just like in persuasive speeches, news articles, or commercials, there should be just the right amount of text and copy, or else you'll come across as repetitive. Don't stuff, don't spam. There is no hard rule, but a keyword density of 2-3 %, intelligently placed, is about right.
Put your main copy close to the top of the content, under the H1 tag. Write smart, readable copy.
Yes, do pay proper attention to Titles and Headers. But don't mistreat Content. Neither do the search engines. |
