Google Page Ranking (PR) |
|
|
Level of importance (on a scale of 0 - 10) attributed by Google to a web page. Not to be mistaken for search results page ranking or positioning. |

H1 H2 H3 |

H1, H2 and H3 are SEO relevant headlines or sub-headings placed within a web page. Usually headings are visually part of the web page's content, i.e. the main text or copy. |

Multilingual SEO is the science of optimizing a website in multiple languages for multiple search engines, in order to rank higher and gain a presence on search engines and with searchers communicating in multiple languages, usually in different regions of the world. |

Organic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) |

Search Engine Optimization that relies on achieving search results and page rankings which are keyword-driven and code-oriented , i.e.: results that rest solely on the quality of the SEO work. Organic (also called : natural) traffic is in contrast with paid (PPC or paid ad) traffic. |

Black Hat SEO is the opposite: a set of deceptive methods designed to trick search engines into ranking certain websites much higher than they would have normally been. |
